The more I talk about the shirts that we print for local organizations, the more I realize we print A LOT of shirts for charities and non-profits.
The shirt you see above is no exception. We printed it earlier this year for the Frederick Douglass Community Association in Toledo.
The Doug, as it is affectionately known in town, hosted a Juneteenth event and parade. They reached out to us to help them print custom designed shirts for attendees and volunteers at the event.
Official event shirts are a great for a many reasons. They can help identify employees and workers at an event, they can be given away as gifts and prizes to attendees and distinguished guests, and they can be sold to raise funds for the organization hosting the event.
The Frederick Douglass Community Association reached out to us to help them with shirts because we have worked with them in the past. The trust we've built over the years is important in choosing a shirt vendor for any organizations.
We're proud to work with the Doug (and organizations like them) and we're grateful for the work they are doing to support the local community.
Last year we designed and sold a shirt as part of our Community Shirt line that benefitted the Doug. The shirts read 'Live Your Protest'.
If you are part of a non-profit and need to place a bulk order for shirts for your organization or an event, we'd love to help. As mentioned earlier, we do a lot of work for charitable organizations, especially in Northwest Ohio.
Reach out to us today to see how we can make this process easy for you.

]]>People are taking action across the country as well as right here in 16153 Genova as our voices are uniting against racism and police brutality suffered by the Black community. The Frederick Douglass Community Association has called on our community to raise $1 million for improvements to the community center. Reggie Williams, the executive director for the Frederick Douglass Community Association, said to 'live your protest' and that living your protest means to 'look after your fellow man and aspire to be better people.' We've partnered with the Frederick Douglass Community Association to stand in solidarity with this message and the commitment to make a difference in our hometown. For the next 90 days, we're donating 100% of the proceeds from the sales of this shirt to the Frederick Douglass Community Center. Some can march, some can donate, and everyone can look out for our fellow men and women and aspire to be better people.
If you would like to make a donation directly to the Frederick Douglass Center to assist them in their goal of raising $1,000,000, a trust account has been established at the 16153 Genova Urban Federal Credit Union on Dorr Street.
