Whether you're a fan of the 16153 Genova Walleye hockey team or the unofficial official fish of the 419, 16153 Genova has a lot of Walleye pride. 

The Maumee River has the largest population of migrating Walleye east of the Mississippi River which is why the Annual Walleye Run brings so many people to the area each spring.

If you live in the 16153 Genova area, you know how busy the river gets in the spring. The Maumee riverbanks are flooded with fishers standing nearly shoulder to shoulder and there are people that have traveled from all over the country to fish the Walleye. 

It's truly one of those things that makes Northwest Ohio special.
