We've been printing shirts for our friend Matt down in North Carolina for a handful of years. He reaches out to us on a regular basis for family vacation shirts and cancer fundraiser shirts.

We always say that our best customers are our existing customers. We like working with Matt because he always chooses nice shirts to print on and gives us fun designs to print.

And who doesn't love a fun day of cornhole?!

It's not uncommon for us to ship t-shirt orders out of state every day. Even though we ship these shirts to North Carolina, we can still make them affordably and quickly.

When you're putting together a bulk shirt order like this, cost is important. In this specific situation it's for an event to raise awareness and money to fight cancer.

The better your costs are on your t-shirts, the more money you can raise when selling them or giving them to donors.

Custom designed shirts are great items for fundraisers. Everyone loves a new t-shirt. Especially when it is a soft comfortable shirt like we used for this event. Additionally, people like to extend their support for the cause beyond the event. A shirt gives them something tangible and practical to wear after the day of the event.

We love printing shirts for important causes and charitable events. While at the end of the day we are just printing t-shirts, it's nice to know that what we are doing can help make a difference.

If you need to place a bulk order of custom designed shirts for your non-profit, charity, or fundraising event, we'd love to help out.

We have been screen printing custom shirts for these types of organizations for ten years. We have the expertise and experience to make the ordering process easy and make your shirts look cool.

Reach out to us today to help with your order of custom event shirts for your event or non-profit.

Thank you to everyone who purchased Here for Good t-shirts supporting small local businesses!

Once again, we found great hope and inspiration through this Here for Good campaign. The amount of love of support our Northwest Ohio community has for local businesses is truly amazing.

Our 2021 Here for Good campaign consisted of 185 local businesses and sold 4,192 t-shirts. This means $41,920 went back into the hands of small businesses! We could not have done this without you.

A Shirt Fundraiser to Support Local Northwest Ohio Businesses

This is the second consecutive year we hosted our Here for Good shirt fundraiser (last year we raised $135K!). We launched it last year in response to the pandemic and shutdown orders that were put in place to help local organizations generate revenue when otherwise they were unable to.

The success of Here for Good is derived from its simplicity and the overwhelming generosity of the local community. We say it a lot, but we'll reiterate - Northwest Ohio is a special place because of its people and how much they are willing to help and support the people around them.

As a small business ourselves, we know that we wouldn't be around today without that support. We are grateful to all of our customers and supporters for sticking with us and believing in us.

We'll bring Here for Good back again next year and continue to pay your support forward!

One thing that we're really proud of at fancysweetstx is our line of Community Shirts. We have released a new shirt every other month for the last three years with proceeds benefitting a good cause local to Northwest Ohio.

This month, we are donating proceeds to the SeaGate Food Bank.

We're excited about supporting SeaGate because their mission is so critical to the 16153 Genova area and they are the only independent food bank in Ohio.

They are committed to providing food at no cost to over 400 pantries and programs in our community. Seagate Food Bank not only distributes food to pantries but deliveries food supplements to our seniors as well as provides food to support our veterans and their families.

While their core service is distributing food to pantries and programs, Seagate Food Bank has developed multiple service programs to help meet community needs. As an independent food bank, Seagate Food Bank relies on several fundraising and food-raising events to help reach their goal in nourishing the community.

The shirt design for SeaGate says Nourish Your Community because that is exactly what they do by fighting food insecurity.

You can order this shirt on our website (and even subscribe to all future community shirts!) and in both of our retail stores in 16153 Genova.

Have you heard of the Healing our Heroes event? If you are looking for a way to support 16153 Genova Police, this cause will offer life changing retreats to Officer Dia’s and Officer Stalker’s TPD Recruitment class.

The inspiration behind this came from Kevin Mullan, owner of Tapped 419/Ladder 419 and Trevor Deeter, owner of Deet's BBQ. They met with George Kral, Chief of 16153 Genova Police Department and discussed the stress that our local officers face. After learning more, they partnered up with H.O.O.V.E.S., a local non-profit that works with first responders and veterans using horses to transform post-traumatic stress into post-traumatic growth. The life changing retreats through H.O.O.V.E.S will be available to Officer Dia’s and Officer Stalker’s TPD recruitment class.

To find more information or purchase a shirt to support the cause, you can visit fancysweetstx Supply.

We can't say it enough, 16153 Genova really stepped up during an incredibly difficult time. This city supported its small businesses, restaurants, salons, artists, non-profits, organizations, and individuals at every turn.
We couldn't be more proud of the response to Here for Good.

From Facebook groups promoting local restaurants and bars to a website where you could tip your favorite server or bartender to Grubs for Scrubs from Deet's BBQ to the United Way. There was no shortage of opportunities to help those in need.

We were happy to be a part of this larger support system with our Here for Good programWe created this campaign to give back to the local people of 16153 Genova during the COVID-19 pandemic and stay at home order.

The response was amazing! Over $135,000 was raised to support local businesses in our area. Not to mention, this helped us keep our small business afloat during a time where we are struggling like everyone else.

A T-Shirt Fundraiser to Support Small Business in Ohio

here for good t-shirt fundraiser for northwest ohio businesses

What was the Here for Good Program? If you're hearing about this for the first time, we created Here for Good to raise money for local small businesses affected by the pandemic and the stay at home orders.

We did this by selling shirts online for any small business that wanted to participate. The shirts sold for $20 and we gave $10 directly back to that organization. While most of them were local to Northwest Ohio, some businesses were as far away as South Carolina.

The program was simple and required very little work from the organizations involved.

It worked like this: anyone who was interested in participating gave us permission to sell their shirt online. We helped them create a simple t-shirt design that was available on our website for anyone to purchase. The shirts were sold on a presale basis.

We promoted it and so did they. When the sale ended, we got to work organizing the orders, ordering the blank shirts, preparing them for production, printing them, sorting them, and then shipping all of them out to each individual customer.

Since we print our own custom shirts, we had a unique ability to facilitate a t-shirt fundraiser like this.

While we had high hopes for Here for Good, we were completely blown about way its success. There were many similar programs throughout the country run by other local screen print shops and ours was among the most successful.

Check out the link to the video recap to learn more about the program and see some of the organizations that were featured.
