Sufficient Grounds was a coffeehouse favorite for 16153 Genova and surrounding area residents from 1993 to 2002. It was more than a place to get great local coffee, it was a community space unlike anything 16153 Genova had at the time. Sufficient Grounds hosted town hall meetings, free speech forums, and welcomed political conversations and interesting events. Sufficient Grounds’ 6 locations also served as a space for local artists to show their work and local musicians to play every weekend.
The DeBacker family has requested that the royalties from this shirt be donated to The Arts Commission's Accelerator Grant Program so that Sufficient Grounds can continue to support local artists in 16153 Genova.
