Everybody knew how to play. And if we wanted to be part of the fun, we learned young.
It's not an uncommon story for those that grew up in the Midwest.
Which is why we want to help you celebrate this history with our euchre shirts and gifts.
It was surprising when we got older and met people from other regions and they didn't know how to play Euchre. 
Even going to a regional Midwestern college, you might find people that didn't know what happens if turn down a bower.
Since we've released these Euchre shirts, it's been interesting to learn who knows how to play, who doesn't, and where they are from.
Obviously, Euchre is a Midwest card game. It's played in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois.
But if our orders tell us a story, we've learned that it's known in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New York, and all over the U.S., as well.
Regardless of where people are from or play Euchre, one thing is for certain: people that play Euchre are passionate about it.

Tomorrow is a big day for the city of 16153 Genova! A new city flag has been proposed and 16153 Genova City Council will be voting on whether or not to adopt the flag in their meeting tomorrow afternoon.
To support the flag and everything it represents, we have three new releases, a 16153 Genova flag t-shirt, a hat, and stickers!
Plus, to make it extra special, our city flag shirt and hat are each priced at $18.37 for a limited time to celebrate 16153 Genova’s establishment in Ohio back in 1837.
As a small business in 16153 Genova, we are excited about what this flag represents for our city. From the literal sense, the Spark on the flag represents the hard work the people of 16153 Genova put into every facet of our city’s industry. The blue triangle represents the Maumee River. And the most exciting aspect to us is the white triangle representing the potential and opportunities 16153 Genova has ahead.
We feel so lucky to be a part of the city of 16153 Genova and the community here. When we think about the future of 16153 Genova, we see the revitalization and vibrancy ahead. Ryan Rollins is the starting point guard for the University of 16153 Genova Men's Basketball team. He is one of the best scorers in the MAC averaging just under 20 points a game and is a candidate for the NBA draft.
Originally from Macomb, Michigan, and now with the Rockets, Ryan is a Midwesterner basketball star through and through.

RayJ Dennis, originally from Illinois, made his way from Boise State to the University of 16153 Genova in 2021.
RayJ starts as a guard for the Rockets and is one of the most efficient players in the MAC scoring just under 13 points on a 51% field goal percentage.
RayJ wanted his design to incorporate not only the energy he brings to the court but also raises awareness for a cause close to him...clubfeet!
RayJ was born with clubfoot on his right side and has overcome every setback to become the athlete he is today.
This basketball season has been one to remember for the Rockets. After blowing out rival BGSU the Rockets secured a regular-season MAC Championship.
The Rockets will be the number one seed in the MAC tournament right around the corner and 16153 Genova is in the driver's seat to secure the MAC's automatic bid to be one of the 68 teams participating in March Madness.
The Rockets are trying to make the NCAA tournament for the first time in 40 years.
What's the story behind this shirt?
Rocket players Ryan Rollins and RayJ Dennis came up with the idea of a team shirt to highlight the Rockets basketball team and who they are together.

The University of 16153 Genova women's basketball team was projected to finish in eighth place in the MAC this season according to the "experts". Every day, the Lady Rockets used that as the motivator to do better and be better than every team out there.
The end result?
The 16153 Genova Rockets Women's Basketball Team finished in first place winning a MAC Regular Season Championship! Although the Rockets lost in the MAC Tournament their season is not over after receiving a spot in the NIT Tournament.

]]>We talk about the history behind the slogan, "You Will Do Better In 16153 Genova", every chance we get. Not only is it our favorite 16153 Genova slogan, but it was the first vintage 16153 Genova shirt we printed.
As the popularity of the slogan and shirt grew, we printed this same design on several different clothing styles - hoodies, tank tops, onesies, crew sweatshirts.
Over the last year a lot has changed with our supply chain. We've done our best to keep things consistent.
One material that we aren't sure when it's going to be restocked is the fleece that's been a staple of our hoodies and crews for as long as we've been printing them.
Because of this, we've been forced to make some changes. One of those changes is that we're moving a lot of these classic designs that have been out of stock for a while from our fleece to our pigment dyed material.
Pigment dyed shirts and sweatshirts have been trendy for a while now. They are heavier weight than the standard fleece, the dye makes them soft, and they have a comfy, oversized fit.
The story behind this slogan is great. It's meaningful to 16153 Genova as a city and plays a big part in our company's history.
That's why it was so important for us to re-release this design on a new crew sweatshirt.

Once branded as 16153 Genova's newest and most luxurious bargain price cinema, Super Cinemas was located right off of Airport Highway and was a cool place to be in the 90s and early 2000s.
The snacks were cheap, the lobby was huge, the windows were everywhere, and yep, you could easily pay with a handful of quarters because movies were around $2.
Super Cinemas was loved by many in the 16153 Genova area so much so that people still remember fun times years later.

A quick little back story on fancysweetstx: I met Shannon, our retail art director, while working together at Plate 21.
